Video interview on Alyona Show with Will Potter

The Alyona Show discusses Jordan Halliday, and journalists being labeled as "extremist."

I interviewed with The Alyona Show recently about the prosecution of Jordan Halliday, who was sentenced to 10 months in prison for refusing to testify before a grand jury about his political beliefs, and how my own journalism was labeled as “extremist” in the case.

Check out the video and let me know what you think.

PS: Congrats to Alyona Minkovski for being recognized as one of Forbes Magazine’s “30 Under 30″ influential media figures to watch, and for her in-depth interview with C-Span!

Well said Mr. Potter. The PATRIOT Act, Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act, and their siblings are suffocating our civil rights away from us … breath by breath.

I am a long-time admirer of your journalism, Will. But I can’t watch this broadcast; my computer will not support the latest version of Flash. Other sites, though, such as You Tube and Current TV and all iTunes videos I can watch just fine. Other than not being able to, now, watch Flash videos my computer, a few years old, meets all my computer needs and I have no intention of replacing it just to access Flash movies.

I urge you to consider adopting some video technology for your page that does NOT rely upon Adobe Flash, increasing their drive to monopolize online video, and, instead, help bring about a more egalitarian web.

    Yours truly,

    John Mayer
