Some activists out West are running a marathon and raising money for Daniel McGowan, one of the individuals arrested in the Operation Backfire cases.
All proceeds from this run will go directly to Daniel McGowan’s education fund. Daniel will complete his master’s degree while serving a seven-year sentence in federal prison. We believe that Danniel’s voice must not silenced by his imprisonment and that communication and education are vital in the battle against global warming.
