Thank you for all what you are doing for the Animals. In 50/100 years the animal lab researches (= concentration camps) will hopefully all be abolished and considered evil and medieval!

Here is an article with a bit more details about the SHAC 7 case, and what they did, and did not, do. As to why some folks like Wes and Louise are so upset, I’ll let them answer that, but I think it’s safe to say they don’t just have a problem with this case but with animal rights beliefs in general.

I dont see what these guys did? am I missing something? I am not a vegan or an activist but I love animals and this is absurd, if all facts are present, I am more upset about the abuse of control involved here. Why are people like WES and LOUISE so angry at these people? Im scared to even be on this web page right now!

Will…

I had the privilege to hear you speak at AR2006…you are brilliant and I cannot thank you enough for what you do for US…and for the animals. Your writing is so eloquent, especially for “not having the words to say” in this entry. Because I wasn’t there…which I wished SO much I could have been a part….I felt the emptiness and the pain, somewhat, of those who were able to be there. I guess I just sit back and have a hard time believing this is all happening. Why I am surprised? I have no idea. I shouldn’t be.

And Wes..I HAVE nothing to say to your horribly insensitive comment…..except for this quote..which was also used in the movie/documentary “BEHIND THE MASK”:

Since when does the 1st ammendment allow you to destroy property and trample on the rights of others ? I can honestly say that I sympathize with the cause that the SHAC 7 is fighting for, however they stepped over the line. “Liberating” animals (which requires vandalism along with other crimes) and harrassing people in their homes (‘home visits”) or places of business is illegal. I have want to be an “activist” ( you use the term very loosely in your article), “radical”, “eco-warrior”, etc., at some point you’re going tojail. Play with fire and you get burned.
