We don’t know but there may have been similar hoax bombs planted and the FBI wants/needs leads from this hoax to arrest those that are planting them.

I recently read an interview with Derrick Jensen where he made a good point I hadn’t thought of; don’t know if you’ve ever mentioned it.

If the government considers ALF/ELF/etc. terrorists, why did they keep proclaiming they’ve prevented any terrorist acts in the country since 9-11?

I think that’s a very fair and relevant point to raise. It wouldn’t be the first time. Anyone can spraypaint “ELF” or “ALF” on anything, and the government automatically attributes it to eco and animal activists.

it would be nice if more people applied and infiltrated the FBI. and for that matter research labs. theres lots and lots of job postings for lab positions on the primate info net website. just throwing it out there.

To be fair, what if the ELF is being framed by anti-environmentalists? Would we want the FBI to ignore that?
Maybe we would because it seems like a waste of resources. I’m just posing the question.
