Anthony Bourdain is ‘friggin’ desperate to be edgy and cool, and to of course ’stay relevant’ and court controversy whenever given the slightest chance. Who knows what he truly believes, but one should not be allowed to go around spouting such utter nonsense without being challenged.

Yet perhaps it is indeed all in ‘jest;’ Bourdain does admittedly look quiet the fool these days with his tight hipster jeans, slick shades (as much of a cultivated personal accessory as Guy Fieri’s, who he disparges at every chance) and posey-haughty leather face. And he does seem a man who would apparently gladly dance about for the royality, given the right price and stature.

Just kidding, jeeze.

Well, this confirms the oft-touted theory that vegans have no sense of humor. (Settle, settle! I’m just kidding, jeez!) He is being facetious. Do you really think he truly thinks vegetarians are the worst kind of terrorists!? Come the fuck on. Anybody remember the “Soup Nazi” from Seinfeld. Was he really a Nazi? Seriously, people: use your fucking heads. Lighten up. You’re just giving fodder to people who think that most vegans are just self-loathing ascetics who deprive themselves so they can be holier-than-thou and feel “more evolved” or more enlightened.

But we know that’s not true. Just lighten up a little. We don’t want PETA pipe-bombing Anthony Bourdain, who is friggin’ awesome, by the way.

“Terrorists”?….. please! Couldn’t be further than the truth. For 5 years I was one of the meanist vegetarians on the planet – 6 months ago I went vegan – I have never embraced a more peaceful, non-violent path in my life. Vegan is all about NON-Violence to all beings. I think the “terrorism” might be in the truths that are told – killing is wrong, animals are not necessary as “food”, you will feel better and probably be healthier on a plant based diet, the planet will suffer less eliminating animal agriculture – and lastly, the pititful creatures…. their misery can come to an end. For health & heart – Go Vegan!
