The folks organizing these events feel, and I agree, that it's very important to keep these issues front and center. It seems that the strategy of animal and environmental advocates thus far has been to simply ignore the problem and hope it goes away. In fact, it has only been getting worse. I don't think that highlighting the anniversary of this case is marking a defeat: in my mind it is turning a horrible situation into something potentially positive. Best, Will</description>
