Green Scare Talk at NCOR This Weekend
Mar 6th, 2007 by Will Potter
I’ll be speaking at the National Conference on Organized Resistance this weekend about the Green Scare and labeling activists “eco-terrorists.” It’s part of a panel with animal rights organizers who will also give their take on all this, and how activists have (and should) respond. I’m especially looking forward to the discussion, and hearing from people at the conference about this. It’s from 11:10 a.m. - 12:40 p.m. on Sunday in “Ward 1″ on the American University campus (don’t forget about daylight savings starting on Sunday).
And as an aside, sorry to everyone for so many posts lately about speaking events and so few posts about news: there have been quite a few talks lately and after Sunday I’m going to catch up on writing. Thanks to everyone who has helped organize these great events! (And thanks to the folks from Mass. who drove all the way down for the Yale event!)

Wow, that sounds like a great conference to go to. I just wrote a paper on how the language of the radical environmental movement is rhetorically defensible. If I would have got my shit together sooner, I might have submitted it.
Good luck.
Check out this clever video on endangered species and global warming. Humor goes a long way.
