Thanks so much for all your great work. It's kind of a rite-of-passage, getting stigmatized as an eco-terrorist. I've been collecting these stigmata for a while, and feel like its a bit of a measure of ones success, -given that the due process, collaborationism, cooperation route that 'respectable' enviro's go has become so futile and useless in a world facing ecological catastrophe. Even though I have always only gone the non-violent, civil-disobedient direct action route after having exhausted all due process options, I do exploit the very under-utilized tool of public humiliation, -basically embarrassing and humiliating various CEO's, politicians and other power-people in public, putting their name and face to their crimes before the public. My collection includes: "despicable fearmonger" -Gary Korpan, Mayor of Nanaimo BC, "environmentalist zealot" -Joyce Murray, former BC Environment Minister and most recently, "eco-terrorist" -Sandy McDade, Vice President, Weyerhaeuser Canada. It's so utterly Orwellian, getting branded by the very people who are the real eco-terrorists! At our last two-year tree-sitting blockade at Cathedral Grove on Vancouver Island, BC, we all had tee-shirts with "BC Forest Crimes Unit" emblazoned on the back in large yellow letters, while on the front, we had the drunken criminal mugshot of BC's Premier Gordon Campbell, who got shit-faced drunk in Maui and then got busted for drunk-driving, -while on the job! The Neocon Campbell government is a scourge on this planet, the real "eco-terrorists!" Thanks again!
